I saw thousands of Snow Geese in PA. at Middle Creek wildlife preserve. When they take off it sounds like a tractor and then they fly back and forth like a cloud and when they land they go on top of each other and look like snow. You would be in trouble if you flushed them up at Middle Creek. There’s a traffic jam out there on the little country road when they’re there.
Yeah, that was the cool thing. Having them land in the field across the street from us was like having a nature documentary come to us. I don’t remember this happening in previous years.
