What I loved was that the author made it sound like there was a ton of medieval food there. Actually, there were only two food vendors — three if you count the fudge, four if you count the beer. Luckily, one of them was Texas BBQ, which provided the brisket and had people walking around with charred pork legs on a plate. That felt kind of authentic. But the vendors ran out of food on Saturday. The organizers were saying they needed more food vendors, but I understand why it was hard to find them, because you need additional permissions to sell food.
They ran out of room for vendors? Good thing you made it in then!
