The Nuragic civilization on Sardinia features:
- dry-stone towers (10,000 of them!)
- megalithic “giants'” tombs
- cool little bronzes that look sort of like the ones from Canaan
- large limestone statues that look like the bronzes
- wells with intricate shrine-like things around them

At this point, if I get a chance to go literally anywhere, I’ll make it a point to visit the ancient ruins that are there. However, I have feeling my days of world travel are over. But, I have been fortunate. I’ve visited Borobudur and other Hindu complexes in Java. I’ve seen the remains of ironwood longhouses in Borneo. Here in the U.S., I’ve been to Mesa Verde and various other Anasazi sites, Serpent Mound, and the Montana Megaliths.
