My self-control when it comes to buying books has been terrific just about as good as can be reasonably expected. I can justify each one of these!

• Top left: been thinking about buying for some time, found myself in a Barnes & Noble
• Top right: came to me at just the right moment to help bolster my arguments about The King Must Die. Cost $1. Working on a post that relies on it.
• Bottom right: Heard about this author from Bookstooge, wanted hard copies, sought hard copies on Etsy. A self-indulgent buy.
• Bottom left: In Barnes & Noble again (a separate trip). This is a big deal because the nearest B&N is an hour and fifteen minutes away, but I promise you, I had my reasons. Felt like I could afford to buy a book, spotted this new entry in the Greco-Fiction genre. Checked first to make sure it wasn’t written in the present tense. Found a map. Indulged.
